Two Digital Citizen programming workshops were held at Electrotechnical school Nikola Tesla in first and second grades. The students did the following exercises: Hello, World!; Virtual World; Motor remote control; send messages via radio; Go stop; Button activated motor; PLC controller and electropneumatic; Control system modelling; Comparison of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems ( use in the food industry as an example-preparation for jobs of the future). Some of the exercises were particularly interesting to mechatronics students because they do similar tasks like modelling when they have a block schedule at school.
